UI/UX enhancements

Cross-surface UX improvements, prioritized by the estate-seller pain points (reference). The dominant truth: a sale means thousands of items and hundreds of photos — so throughput and speed beat features. Most of these are additive to the planned waves, not new contracts.

Tier 1 — throughput (attacks pain #1 inventory + #4 photo/listing)

• Bulk everything. Select-many → bulk price / tag / approve / categorize / assign. The review queue and item editor must operate on batches, not one item at a time.
• Fast capture loop. Multi-photo capture with a background upload/scan queue + progress; never block the user waiting on a scan. Capture 50 items, triage later.
• Keyboard-first triage. Review queue navigable by keyboard (approve / next / edit) so a reviewer can clear hundreds of candidates quickly.
• Progressive inference UX. Show the scan result as it firms up (draft → refined), with confidence + provenance — never a fake "instant full appraisal" (D1).

Tier 2 — clarity & trust

• Confidence + provenance everywhere. Every value/comparable shows where it came from and how sure we are (no invented comps — contract-enforced).
• Pricing assist, not pricing oracle. Surface comparable ranges + let the seller adjust; one-click "accept suggested."
• Staging guidance (pain #4): per-item/photo tips, vignette suggestions, "good photo" checklist — cheap wins on listing quality.

Tier 3 — operations (attacks pain #3 staffing, #6 reporting)

• Role-scoped views. Cataloger / pricer / reviewer / cashier views so non-expert staff get a narrow, safe surface (reduces training burden).
• Throughput dashboard. Items/hour, % priced, % reviewed, photos pending — a sale-prep burndown the owner can watch.
• Client-facing report view (pain #6): clean sold/unsold + payout summary the seller can share with the family.

Tier 4 — platform polish

• Design-system pass. One component library + tokens; the tracker's own density/responsive lesson applies (wide grids need a mobile fallback).
• Offline-tolerant capture (sale sites have bad wifi): local queue + sync.
• Accessibility (keyboard, contrast, labels) — also helps speed.
• Demo mode preserved. Keep the showcase data behind a flag when the UI goes live so demos still work.

Sequencing

Tier 1 rides Wave 3/4 when capture/review/publish go contract-backed (no point optimizing a demo). Tiers 2–3 layer on as P4 ranking / P8 cost / P6 data land. Tier 4 is continuous.
